Phone Drifting

The lady in front of me was drifting from side to side. As the freeway began curving to the right, she kept drifting left – nearly running into the car on her left.
As I drove by I noticed she was on her phone.

Semi Merging

During the snowstorm today a semi next to me suddenly decided it was a good idea to merge into my lane with no kind of signal or warning. Luckily he stopped when I honked at him.

Drifting into My Lane

While driving along 7th East today, the car next to me just drifted over into my lane. They only signaled or seemed to notice me when I slammed on my brakes and honked.

Drifting Semi

The semi ahead of me on the left started drifting over into my lane. The car right in front of me ended up moving out of the way to avoid being sideswiped.

Lane Challenged

While driving to work this morning, I noticed the car in front of me was weaving back and forth in his lane a bit. He may have been distracted, sleepy, on his phone, or any number of other things, but he apparently wasn’t alert and paying attention to the road. He would drift off to one side, correct with a jerk, and then drift off to the other side.

Cell Phone Turning

While approaching the I-15/I-215 interchange, I noticed that the guy in front of me was weaving back and forth in his lane a bit. As I got closer, I realized that he was focusing on a cell phone conversation, and only catching his drifting as he was about to cross over into the other lane.

As we got closer to the exit, he began to drift toward it, but not nearly fast enough to actually make the exit. He corrected in the nick of time, just as he was about to hit the exit sign.

Triple-Trailer Fun

On my drive down I-15 this morning, I ended up behind a semi towing three trailers. It seemed to be having issues drifting back and forth slightly, and any of the minor course corrections were amplified by the number of trailers, such that the final one was going back and forth by almost half a lane each time.

The car in front of me was clearly looking for a certain house or street to turn into, and as a result, drifted back and forth rather severely.

Crazy Taxi

While driving today, I noticed a cab driver who seemed to have some difficulty staying inside the lines. The car you are looking for cuts in from the right across a few lanes, and then stays (more or less) in one of the left lanes. During the course of the minute or so that I was behind him, he drifted back and forth quite a bit.

Cell Phone Driving

While driving south on I-215 today, the lady next to me decided the phone she was using was more important than paying attention to the road. I noticed her first as I approached and she nearly slid into the front of my car. After going over the video, I noticed she’d drifted to the opposite side of the lane before I got to her. After I passed, and likely from her near collision with me, she seemed to get things together for at least the next few miles.
