Near-Wreck Experience
Red Truck Miss
The red truck that passes me at the beginning of the vid narrowly missed a collision in the intersection. He had his blinker on as if to turn right (though he wasn’t in the right turn lane), but then went through the intersection when the light went yellow – just as a car tried to turn left. The red truck ended up turning to the right suddenly to miss the other car and narrowly missed him.
Stopped Strangely on Freeway
While driving to work this morning I came upon a car turned around on the freeway and pointing toward the direction of traffic with a pickup next to it. Neither was damaged as far as I could see, nor did there appear to be any damage or collision indications in the snow on the sides of the freeway. There were tire skid marks for the car, but the road wasn’t slick, so I’m not sure what the deal was.
After I passed them they both appeared to drive to the side of the freeway.
Unusual Exit
In front of me several cars there was suddenly a large puff of rubber smoke. This repeated again a few seconds later. An SUV ended up off the side of the road, but as I approached I couldn’t see any damage or broken tires, so the only conclusion I can come to is that the driver was near to missing her exit or had some kind of medical episode.
School Bus Swap
A school bus in front of me decided they were going to merge over a lane, but nearly ended up sideswiping the car next to it.
Truck vs Car
On the merger from I-215 to I-15 a car decided it was going to try and beat a truck just as the lanes merged. The truck ended up having to swerve out of the way as the car ran out of room and was forced over.
